What Kind of Guy Will You Fall For?

Pooh sent me this link on facebook. i answered 8 short questions and here are the results:

You would fall for a Nerd

Your man is socially awkward and completely sweet. Although other people may make fun of him now, just wait a few years and those same people that made fun of him will probably be working for him. He will worship the ground you walk on and love you like crazy, although he may not always know how to express it. You find his awkwardness endearing because you know that underneath all that nervous stuttering and passion for obscure subjects is a really great guy who adores you!

wow. the description sounded *really* like the hub when i FIRST met him in 1994. as a computer science undergraduate, he was the simple, practical, boy-next-door quiet geek (with zero fashion sense) who was clueless about relationships.

of course he's come a LONG way from those early days and has transformed into a tough-talking, no-nonsense boss who's pretty much in control of the situation. and yes, his dressing has improved cos he's now got a personal shopper. ;)

but i doubt if the hub actually "worships the ground" i walk on - he's too practical for that. he knows i'm hardly perfect. but the "he may not always know how to express it" is a definitive.

in short, the hub was an unpolished diamond in the rough. the rude ones (the jocks who thought they were too hot and god's gift to women) who passed snide remarks about him back in those days are probably scratching their heads at how far along he's come in life.

and i bet all the chicks (who dated the himbotic hunks) and didn't even bother to look at him are regretting that they never saw his true potential. what can i say? they have no foresight.

heh. i win.

La Proposition d'Affaires

we obviously haven't seen the last of the hilarious mr yongster although this is his last filmlet (for now) before he leaves for japan in a few days' time.

i thought his previous showing was geekily accurate but he's outdone himself as a hokkien-sprouting ah beng boss...

too good yah!

waddle waddle waddle

i'm running - or should i say, waddling - out of steam.

it's getting a little difficult to breath at times, and getting sufficient sleep is becoming a huge problem as i've to wake up 3-4 times in the night to empty my bladder.

*sigh*

and chinese new year is creeping up ever-so-quickly too. shops are blasting CNY songs already and it seemed like only yesterday when we were done with our christmas shopping frenzy and year-end parties. (well, at least for most people since the only function i attended was the hub's company's annual dinner.)

the strain on my pelvic muscles is unbearable, and i still have 3 more months to go. sometimes i feel as if the baby's pushing her way out already, even though the time is definitely not right!!!

can't remember my previous pregnancies being so physically challenging. i am absolutely sure it's the age factor. just last night i was wondering how i managed to deliver to xian and wen without using epidural...and whether i should *stupidly* do without it a 3rd time.

at this stage, it's too early to tell whether i'll be lucky enough to go through a natural birth process or if i've to opt for a c-section (i hate to go under the knife!). will have to wait and see.

meantime, i'll continue to waddle my way around.
