The End of a Kool Era

This one's for a dear colleague-turned-great friend who's heading back to the corporate world after 2 years and 10 months of teaching. She's made a difference to the students' lives and I know she'll be missed by many. Especially me.

Thanks Lilian, for all that you've done for the students and colleagues. Perhaps you'll be back sooner than you think?! Here's wishing you all the very best in whatever you do!

A True Friend

I knew the day would come
And it arrived too soon for some

I won't miss you when you go away

It's not just 'cos you're a lunch buddy
It's not just 'cos you're a fellow 6-7 matey
It's not just 'cos you're my confidante
It's not just 'cos we work the same way

Thank you for your patience and listening ear
And for not passing judgement whenever I shed a tear
Thank you for trading stories and battle scars
Most of all, for being a gem among the stars

I won't say good-bye
Since I promised not to cry
True Friends we'll always be
And that's a solemn promise from me
