soon.
very soon.
i'll be a mother of 3 kids.
oooooooooooooo. scary thought, especially when i can hardly cope with 2!
at my routine check up at dr lim's yesterday, she predicted that terrorliza *might* pop next week as i was already about 1-2cm dilated. technically you can be 3cm dilated for a couple of days before the 1st stage of labour starts...
for the uninitiated, there are 3 stages of labour. if you're keen to read more, click here.
right now, terrorliza weighs about 2.8kg. the hub was surprised as he'd expected her to be heavier than wen (who was about 3.2kg at birth) because my tummy's bigger this time round. i told him there's no point speculating as all will be revealed in due course.
the bag's all packed, sitting silently in the corner of the bedroom. my hospital admission letter and medical/lab test results are in envelopes tucked in the bag's front compartment. all that's left to include are my toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste and facial wash). the cord blood kit's next to my hospital bag, ready to be whisked off at the appointed moment.
yes, i'm all set and ready to go. yet, in many ways i'm still totally unprepared even though i'm no newbie in the baby-delivery department, as every birth is different and unpredictable.
hell, it's soooooo unnerving to sit patiently and wait. and wait. and WAIT.
*malay for "coming soon".
