Nail this!

After a particularly tiresome year of putting up with fastidious folks and ridiculous demands that constantly irks me to the core, I decided that I'd give myself a little pampering since 2011 is almost over.

While waiting for Wen to finish her Art class on Monday evening, I got my nails done. The enterprising  manicurist suggested I add on some nail art "for just an extra $15.00" to up the glam factor. I'm no fashionista and I'm not really into manicures, rarely indulging in this. 

But that little voice inside my head egged me on and so I did it. Here's the evidence:

Pretty Nails!

This nail gel is hardy and chip-free, and it's supposed to last 3 weeks. It's only been 3 days and the-wear-and-tear hasn't set in yet. Not sure if it's really going to be in good condition in 3 weeks but I'll just have to wait and see.
